Well its now April and I’ve been working full time on my affiliate marketing websites and link sales buisness. Things are going better than I could have expected and I am looking at partnering up with a good friend of mine to expand the link building side of things even further.

Today I have a meeting with an accountant. It’s getting to the point where my projected earnings for this year are good and I have no problem contributing to society so I guess it’s time to sort out my taxes. Oh the joy!

I am still working mainly on my bingo site and am having a real drive for traffic for the next few weeks. My link building skills aren’t great and I’ve been working mainly article marketing which is going ok. I’m sure there is a more balanced strategy and have spent a good deal of time looking into how I can get some of my internal pages ranking much better.

That reminds me I can across a new blog which I have enjoyed reading. Especially this post 10 Secrets To Becoming A Ranking Ranker - the blog is pretty new but already has some good stuff in there. Oh its written by an English bloke as well which makes a change!

Anyway I better go get some figures in order before my meeting.

So I haven’t updted my blog in like forever but have been working pretty hard on a few of my websites recently which are starting to make a bit of money and take off which is cool. I have put a lot of time into it and its nice to see a steady income starting to flow through.

I have been working full time on bingo deposit bonus which I am hoping will be come a big bingo portal for players. I have built about 500 pages now and am starting to see some good traffic. I haven’t really been playing any poker apart from donking in the odd MTT. I am still reading EMS on a daily basis though and trying to keep up with everyone from IRC. I need to get in there a bit more often tbh.

Anyway I will try to do some more regular updates. I have like 3 holidays planned for this summer so can’t wait for that!

Best Ever Goals - I have just launched one of my new websites http://www.bestevergoals.com. Basically it is a ranking of the top 100 goals that have ever been scored. I’ve had a bit of discussion about the rankings with some friends and many people seem to think the  Roberto Carlos impossible goal was a complete fluke. I am inclined to remain neutral on the issue but I there is obviously room for debate lol.

The rest of the site took a surprisingly long time to make. Going through you tube firstly finding a 100 goals that are worthy and then ranking them in order. I had some personal conflict about the order but I’m pretty pleased with it at the moment. I’m sure other people will have their own opinions.

Apart from that I’ve had a pretty low key Christmas this year spending a lot of time in the pub and drinking with mates. New Year was pretty similar although I didn’t manage to make it out on the town like on Christmas Eve which was pretty crappy anyway.

- Best present was an array of new clothes.
- Worst present was a shaving kit with a screw on razor and toothbrush. Epic fail.

Haven’t updated my blog in ages and thats probably because I have hardly played any poker since the 1st of December. I have been going all out on a few other projects that are starting to take off a bit.

It’s been a year since I decided to play the pokaz full time and tbh looking back on this year its been pretty eventful. I’ve had 100k hands break even at 50nl and a mini heater over 50k hands at 100nl. I’m pleased with the progress I’ve made this year but will be aiming a lot higher next year.

However as someone who has experianced the financial swongs that come with the package one of my major goals in 2009 is going to be to create a source of solid income that allows me not to worry about running good or bad on a month to month basis. I would say to anyone thinking about playing full time firstly probably don’t do it and secondly make sure you have a boat load of money behind you. Enough to not have to worry about breaking even for a good few months thats for sure.

Anyway more about goals ect in the new year. I hope everyone has a good crimbo and new year ….. go out get pissed be merry eat lots and leave poker alone for a few days.

Ok so I thought I’d make a quick post about a prop bet I have going with Jagz7 at the moment. If anyone doesn’t know who he is then look here: Cardplayer rankings

68th in the world not bad lol but he is a pure DEGEN! So we are sat up a few nights ago chatting and the Pacquiao v De La Hoya fight was about to start … so Jagz decides to lump a reasonable wager on the Pacman to take it down and I’m sat there all meh whatever the bookies never get it wrong when it comes to boxing … two horse race crap odds blah blah blah. Obviously he runs like god and Pacman destroys and he ships it - nothing new there then.

Anyway next day we are cracking jokes about how good he runs and he proclaims that he is going to turn the 1,700 pounds he has in Betfair into 50,000 pounds and I’m like errr dude you have like no chance. He insta proposes a prop bet on it and I suggest we bet $500 and its on. The rules stipulate that he has to text/ring/tell me online what he is betting on and the amount before the event and if he makes it to 50k then I have to pay up but if he busto’s then he ships me $500. Seems funny to bet $500 on him making 50k but meh whatever it adds to the excitement.

I like my end on the bet substantially. Firstly because he didn’t take odds so he deffo has less than an even chance of making it so ship the EV right there and secondly because if he does run his BR up to like 20k he is surely going to want to buy out of the bet so I can cash in then lol.

Anyway first bet he had on Spurs wins but second bet on an accumulator in the champions league loses and his current bankroll is up 300 to 2000. Its pretty good fun to watch the games from my perspective obv not when Spurs won tho! Anyway I don’t think he can do it as he is a sports betting newbie … I think he thinks otherwise and he does run super god like all the time so you never know.

Ok I finally got my blog back online and as you can see I’ve changed the design. The old one sucked and was a bit confusing so thought I’d get something a bit simpiler.

So anyway its December and very nearly Crimbo which is always nice and it looks like it might have come early for me this years. I have played 6 sessions of 100nl so far and managed to ship $800 not including rake back, all sessions have been winning sessions which is pretty sick and I’m actually running $400 above expectation which is even better! Having said that I’m pretty much due it after my previous run at 50nl but we won’t go into that. I am finding 100nl very similar to 50nl its slighty more agressive but there are a decent amount of regs that are still very average and then others which spew agression a lot. I run so good at 100nl though obviously that can’t be helped and I think my true win rate is about 4.5ptbb/100 which tbh I am happy with. The hours and hours of watching Cardrunners and Decuces Cracked are finally paying off I must have watched every vid that has been realised from 25nl to 1000nl for the last 5 months across both sites.

I haven’t been grinding enough volume lately as I have been working on 2 other projects which have been taking up a lot of my time but will hopefully be worth it! I will make a separate post about each later in the week but I am pretty happy with the way things are going at the moment. I’m hoping to generate another more solid income which will probably be quite a lot less than my poker winnings but still something.

This month I don’t plan to play too much as its going to be pretty busy with going out over Christmas ect. and one of my best mates has 4 weeks off due to his car plant cutting down on hours so will probably spend a load of time playing the new Call of Duty online with him and then even more time in the pub with him and Jono! If I get in 20k hands I’ll be happy. Only another 17k to go lol - I know I suck!

I played the $55 6max on stars last night at 1am it gets about 250 runners and is so soft its unreal! I am definitely going to be looking to play it more and can hopefully get a 4 figure result at some point. I was amazed at the standard of play I guess MTT players just aren’t used to 6max where as it’s all I’ve played for the last year.
